Align production schedule with service provider operating schedule.
Work closely with the import ship coordinator to facilitate customs and AQIS requirements. Conduct weekly calls with each of the service providers to support and efficiently plan/allocate labour and equipment capability to meet production requirements Build Relationships with Local Cartage Companies Support procurement with maintaining performance measures in line with Shipping Contracts Attend and prepare for Monthly performance meetings with Suppliers and procurement Prepare and implement the divisions' approaches, priorities, sequences and resource facilitation for conducting the day-to-day activities. Complete performance reviews to record quality of customer service. The key Accountabilities of this role include: Develop the department's inventory management strategy with the aim of controlling costs within budgetary limits, generating savings, rationalising inventory and maximizing available working capital. Control the raw material stock and ensure the controls and procedures are adhered to. Maintain the department's material and stocked product inventory including stock profiles and stock locations. Minimise overstocks and removal of obsolete / redundant raw materials to maximise availability of working capital.
